Terms of Service

The short version: you get personal readings computed from a record you give us. Don't resell them, don't try to break the service, and understand that a reading is a reading — not advice, not a promise.

Who we are.

ArcSeal is operated by Dark Matter Bio Management LLC. Using the site or the app means you accept these terms. If you don't, don't use it.

Your account.

You need to be 18 or older. Sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password; you're responsible for keeping that account secure, and for everything done through it. One person per account.

Your record.

Readings are computed from a birth record you supply: name, date, birth sex, place, and time where known. It's on you that those details are accurate — we compute faithfully from what you give, and a wrong input yields a wrong reading, not a broken service.

Sealed, and supplemented rather than amended.

Once sealed, an existing value in your record is never rewritten. A field you left blank can be filled later; doing so seals a new version alongside the old one, and the old one is never deleted. That is what makes an earlier reading still checkable.

What you may do with a reading.

Readings are licensed to you personally. Read them, screenshot them, send one to a friend. Don't resell them, republish them commercially, or feed them into another product or model as training or content.

What you may not do to the service.

No scraping, no automated bulk requests, no reverse engineering, no circumventing paywalls or rate limits, no using the service to harass anyone or to make decisions about other people's employment, housing, credit, or health.

Availability.

We'll try to keep it up and we'll tell you when we can't. Features may change, and a tradition may be added or withdrawn; nothing here promises a permanent feature set.

Ending it.

Close your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we'll say why. Three of the sections above outlive the account: “Sealed, and supplemented rather than amended”, “What you may do with a reading”, and “Liability, and the law”.

Liability, and the law.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
